Biographical Note

Goodyear Lumber Company was incorporated in Buffalo, New York, in 1902. However, in “Marion Power Shovel 1884-1984 100th Anniversary Commemorative Edition,” Keith Haddock stated that it developed the Barnhart steam log loader jointly with Marion Steam Shovel Company in 1886. It ceased operations by 2009. Nothing else is known about its history.
