<u>Organizational History</u>

All Purpose Spreader Company, founded in Elyria, Ohio, used the APSCO acronym as its trade name. It was in business as early as 1945, and by 1946 was producing a rubber-tired spreader box called the All-Purpose Spreader. It built the first rubber-tired asphalt paver, and was acquired by Blaw-Knox Company (Collection 172) in 1954.

<u>Product Information</u>

Major patents and innovations:

Apsco developed the first rubber-tired asphalt paver. Their PF-series became a major product line for Blaw-Knox.

Apsco model designations were continued by Blaw-Knox.
